The past few weeks have been a trying time for all of us globally with social distancing, and uncertainty about what the months ahead will bring.

One of the main concerns during this time is the restricted visitation with the elderly community, and the family members that worry about their loved ones who are isolated in nursing homes or assisted care living.

We at Paradise Galleries empathize with those senior citizens who are lonely and miss being in contact with their family members. We have donated our reborn dolls to senior homes in the past, and it always warms our hearts to see how much our dolls bring them so much companionship and security.

To do our part, we would like to continue donating our dolls to those in senior living facilities, but we need your help!

If there is a nursing home that you would like us to donate our dolls to, please nominate them by commenting below with the name and location of the home. We will be choosing 3 facilities at random that will receive our dolls to love and cuddle!

Thank you for helping us share the love by bringing those in the elderly community dolls and smiles together.

My 95 year old mother who is the amazing mother of ten children had to handle the job of raising us all herself when my father died from pnemonia in 1972. I was seven. She is suffering from dementia at this time but is admired by many who know her story of hardship. Her nursing home is at a critical stage of bankruptcy and possibly being bought out by another company in a matter of months. Her home and security may be whisked from her as quickly as an ocean wave wipes away your child’s sandcastle. Employees have led a strike and many have left their job. These workers and the elderly residents need our LOVE and recognition at this time. May the powers that move the wind forward in life bring a Huge Gust of Love their way. Paradise Galleries dolls are beautiful works of art that touch your heart on so many levels. I know know, because I own 4 of them. Thank you for this opportunity. The nursing home is Good Samaritan Lutheran Care Center, 125 Rockefeller Rd, Delmar, Ny 12054. ( Delmar is a hemlet or village that is part of the town of Bethlehem!!!) There is room at this inn for dolls from Paradise!!

I nominate NHC National Health Care of St Charles Mo – my mother is a resident there & they’re quarantined due to Covid-19 right now, we are having a hard time not being able to visit her & hug her kiss her & love on her as we regularly do & know it’s difficult for all. Would love to see some baby dolls donated to their facility as i know they all just love babies!! Please consider doing so thank you!!
