Standard Shipping and Handling is based on the actual shipping weight of the product. Standard Shipping is via US Postal Service and typically ships the day after your order is received for in-stock items, please allow 7-10 days for delivery. You will be notified if any item is temporarily out of stock. Expedited Shipping Fees: Expedited shipping surcharges are applied to the regular S&H shown under each product's item number. You can expedite your entire order or just individual dolls within the order. You will be billed based on your order's total dollar value plus the extra charge for each item you would like expedited. Expedited shipping is only available to street addresses in the continental United States. Please note, the Expedited shipping is only available on in-stock items. Express shipping charges are not refundable and second day shipping must be prepaid via credit card. FedEx Home Delivery delivers within five to six business days, no signature required service. FedEx 2-Day service delivers within two-three working days, no signature required service.
For shipments to US Territory outside the continental US, please add $25 per item to the standard shipping fee. For shipments to US Military addresses, add $15 per item to the standard shipping fee.
When you purchase more than one in-stock item on the same order, going to the same shipping address you will pay full Standard Shipping and Handling charges on the highest single item. Each additional item will be charged a flat rate of $5 per item. Please note that the BUY More, PAY Less offer is only available within the contiguous 48 states. Paradise Galleries dolls are hand crafted in the finest Bisque Porcelain, soft and life-like Gentle Touch Vinyl or our exclusive Porcelain-look resilient Caressalyn Vinyl. Generally porcelain and vinyl dolls typically have porcelain or vinyl head and limbs, with a stuffed/cloth body to allow for greater posability. Others are crafted entirely in porcelain or full vinyl. We also offer dolls crafted from high-grade polyresin.
Our imported products are handcrafted by experienced doll makers. They are reproductions of original works of art created by doll artists, many of whom are internationally renowned and honored with numerous awards. Each doll expresses the artist's own choice of fashion and expression. Paradise Galleries dolls are hand crafted in the finest soft and life-like GentleTouch™ Vinyl or our exclusive Porcelain-look resilient Caressalyn™ Vinyl. GentleTouch™ vinyl is soft vinyl (soft to the touch) and is usually used for baby dolls to create the lifelike look and feel. Caressalyn™ vinyl are hard vinyl that looks like porcelain and is usually used for toddler dolls, child dolls and fashion dolls.
Paradise Galleries porcelain dolls are issued in Premiere Editions limited to 100 firing days. "Firing Days" refers to the days on which porcelain parts for the dolls are fired, or vitrified in large kilns. Each doll created from the porcelain parts is then individually hand-numbered.
Black porcelain is especially valued by doll collectors because of its relative rarity. The clay itself is colored and less readily available. Moreover, the black porcelain is more fragile in the kiln and many more pieces are lost in firing. Thus, the end product is far more costly to produce. Paradise Galleries employs authentic black porcelain, never painted white porcelain.
