Alkioni was inspired by the Greek myth of Alcioni (Kingfisher bird)
Alkioni in Greek mythology was the princess and wife of Ceyk . They lived very happy and in love . One day, Ceyk went to sea for fishing. Alkioni vainly begged the him to not to go because she had a bad feeling but he went and stood strong winds and sank the ship. Alkioni, who was watching the scene from afar just saw the ship be lost in despair fell from a cliff and died. Because their love was so strong, gods of Olympus regretted and transformed into birds, kingfishers known us.
