Jorja Pigott was born in Oklahoma and was raised in Texas since she was five. She moved to North Carolina in May of 2000. She is a mother of three wonderful boys. Her husband, Mike, and her children have been very patient and supportive as she follows her dream.
Jorja says that she grew up a tomboy and was a late bloomer when it comes to playing with dolls. She always tells her friends that she is reliving her childhood through the babies that she sculpts. In February 2005, after first being introduced by her sister to “reborning,” she was hooked to the art. After doing this for a couple years, she found herself drawn into sculpting the babies. In February 2009, she created her first sculpt. She says after that she realized that she had found her passion and absolutely loves sculpting babies. She is continuously trying to improve and achieve realistic expression and poses in her sculpts and strives to appeal to every doll collector, in hopes that they would be proud to own dolls that she has sculpted!
