Beverly Stoehr traveled the world as part of a military family before settling in Western New York. As a lifelong doll lover, she began creating her own porcelain dolls as gifts for her young daughter, Barbara. Ms. Stoehr studied and taught ceramics before apprenticing to three master European dollmakers and developing her own unmistakable "look.” Her work has been honored with the coveted "Doll of the Year" award, the 2004 Dolls Award of Excellence and nominated for many others. Her limited editions are sought after by collectors around the world.
